Medeama SC Joins The Elites As They Win The Ghana Premier League Cup Against Tamale City

Medeama Sporting Club won their first Ghana Premier League title after a victorious home win over Tamale City FC on Sunday, the 11 of June 2023 at Akoon Park in Tarkwa as they won three (3) goals to nil (0) against the Tamale City's The victors were positioned in the first (1st) place of the GPL while Tamale City (15th) were positioned at the fifteenth position and were on the verge of relegation which unfortunately came into realization after they lost heavily to the now crowned champions of the Ghana Premier League.

Medeama SC's win was made possible by Jonathan Mensah, who scored all three (3) goals, making him the man of the match and the favorite of the supporters of the team during the match time. Medeama is the twelfth (12th) team to win the Ghana Premier League title since the onset of the league in 1956 and they had marked their name among the elites of the Ghana Premier League as they can now rub shoulders with great teams like Asante Kotoko, the Hearts Of Oak and many others bringing pride to both the club and it's supporters.
