The three-year-old son of singer and songwriter, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, has reportedly loosed their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke tragically after he drowned in his father's Banana Island house in Ibadan, Lagos.
Young Ifeanyi drowned to death at his father’s house while his parents were away on a trip. He was taken urgently to the Evercare Hospital in Lekki where, upon arrival, he was declared dead.
In order to attend a family reunion in Ibadan, the couple had left Ifeanyi with his carers, who are baffled as to how he managed to slip into the pool unnoticed and drown.
Several of the guests and caretakers who were in Davido’s house at the time of the event have been detained and under investigation.
Davido was transferred from Evercare Hospital in a disturbed and unconsolable state, and he is currently being cared for at his father’s home. May the soul of the singer's son rest in perfect peace.
