Doctor Grabbed By Police After Cruelly Injecting Taxi Driver To Death And Stealing His Car

A medical doctor of has been arrested by law enforcers after injecting a patient with poison and robbing him of his possessions in Edo State, Nigeria.



A medical doctor of the Kaiama General Hospital identified as Abass Adebowale, a graduate of the University of Ilorin in Kwara State has been arrested by law enforcers after injecting a patient with poison, killing him and robbing him of his possessions in Edo State, Nigeria.
 Mr. Adebowale, 36, met the victim, Emmanuel Agbovinuere, 39, in an undisclosed hotel in Benin and the victim, who is a taxi driver, complained of leg pain and the doctor promised to help and injected an unknown poisonous drug in the victim's system which killed him instantly. 
In an attempt to hide his crime, Dr. Adebowale left the dead body in the victim's Toyota Voltron car and later took it to Ondo Road in Oluku, Edo State, where he dumped it.




The suspect was arrested by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Edo State Police Command when they got a hint of the victim's disappearance and death. They mobilized and nabbed the suspect in Osogbo in Osun State with the victim's car. Mr. Adebowale is currently in the custody of the Edo State Police Command awaiting trial. The deceased driver left behind his twenty-seven (27) year old wife, Mary Agbovinuere and two children. As to why the suspect committed such a crime is still unknown but we hope the investigation of the police will bring out his motives soon.
